Metal Finishing

The metal finishing and processing industry has been plagued with air pollution compliance since the Clean Air Act of 1970 was passed. There are many point sources of air pollution emanating from industries involving metal finishing and processing. They can be categorized as:

  • Smoke
  • Fumes
  • Combustion Contaminants
  • Refining Contaminants
  • Dust

Most of the preceding categories involve particulates in the effluent air stream. There are many solutions, and Indusco Environmental has experience with every one. We have worked within the metal finishing and processing industries since the time of our inception over 20 years ago. The most common solutions, that we can custom design for your operation, are:

  • Electric Precipitators
  • Baghouse dust collector
  • Wet Scrubbers
  • Hooding and ventilation options

There are other solutions, such as Afterburners, but they are so rare that we have chosen not to include these infrequent design procedures. Rest assured, however, that we will take into account every possible option available, before designing your system. If you would like a quote or simply more information on what we can provide for you regarding your metal processing or finishing plant, please fill out a quote/literature request form, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
